    Anise Desson thought she would never get off her home planet of Ceran. One day, thanks to the kindness of a mysterious stranger, she gets a chance for a new life. After a tragic accident, Anise receives an opportunity to join the Qor, the protectors of the galaxy.

   Now, Anise is helping defend the galaxy from the evil Embleck Army. When she discovers she has a strange connection with one of the Embleck Army's top officers, High Commander Monroy, her life is turned upside down.
